《You Should Cure Yourself First》
This series of works is a sequel to "Am I Blue": against a gray backdrop, decaying and vibrant branches of flowers are deeply intertwined. The image is divided between light and dark, like the clear yet blurred days and nights of depression. In the shadows, petals curl up in a private agony; in the light, newly born flowers bear visible scars. These two forms intersect within the painting, not in opposition, but in symbiosis. "Entanglement" reveals a core contradiction: decay and rebirth are two seasons on the same stem, and within the ashes lies an unspoken dawn. "Healing" infuses the images with a tense subtext. Like a hasty external judgment, it highlights the inherent complexity and stubbornness of this "entanglement"—if healing means forcibly separating the two, that itself might be a new form of harm. True acceptance: acknowledging that part of ourselves that cannot heal and existing with it—perhaps the truest form of life itself.
